Weekly Art Classes

     We specialize in weekly group art classes, where students get individual coaching from an experienced instructor. Classes are geared towards adults, teenagers & children ages 7+. Our flexible lesson plan is tailored to individual students by age and art experience, offering suitable techniques to three levels of challenge. Children start with cartooning and basic shape building, and later explore realism, interpretive style and composition. Teens and adults build on these same skills, while moving into areas of concept, communication, and advanced technique.

Formats:

Group Instruction - Students work on projects based on similar template and objectives. Group instruction emphasizes lesson structure, common learning goals, and sharing feedback between artists. 

​

Workshop - Students work on unique projects at their own pace, rather than keeping in step with each other. Workshop-style classes are ideal for independent learners.

Trial Discount: Squak Art Studio offers one trial class to prospective students at a reduced price (1.5 hours - $25 | 2 hours - $30 | 3 hours - $40). During this class, students will draw from prepared, age-appropriate sample lessons and explore basic art skills and concepts. Introductory class credit must be used in a single class period during the session in which it was purchased. These credits are limited to one per new student.

Family Discount: We know the value of sharing art with others, and we offer discounts to encourage it. Family members who are paid for jointly will receive a 5% discount on their class and camp tuition. Use the promo code family5 while checking out in the online store. 

 

Referral Discount: When a current student refers a friend who enrolls in four classes/camp days or more, both the new student and the student who referred them will receive a $20 discount on their next tuition.
